 Lockton will ensure First Aiders are available and trained and  that first aid facilities and equipment are available.   Information about who is a first aider will be published in each  office and on the intranet.   Associates are expect to familiarise themselves with who is a  first aider in their office or in their part of the office in larger  locations   Associates are expected to follow the instructions of first aiders   First aiders are volunteers.   First aiders do have to be trained in order to meet the  requirement of a “suitable person” Lockton will arrange for the  training, which will vary by location and individuals.   First aid kits are stocked to meet the needs of the associates  whilst completing Lockton business. Any use should be for first  aid purposes and not alleviation of non‐work caused/related  discomfort e.g.: for ill‐fitting shoes.   All first aid incidents must be recorded and reported to  facilities.  Provision of First Aiders  Lockton is aware of its duty to ensure that our associates receive  immediate attention should they be injured or fall ill at work.  Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application)  Regulations 2007 Chapter 2 of Part 7 ;  Lockton recognises the need  for provision of both (1) adequate equipment and facilities and (2)  such number of suitable persons as is adequate. Lockton is particularly aware that a person shall not be suitable  unless he or she has undergone such training and has such  qualifications as may be appropriate.
