If attending through work experience or other training it is likely  there will be a Risk Assessment form to complete for the educational  institute looking after the young person. These should be completed  and a copy retained for file.  If no assessment form is provided by the young person’s sponsor  then contact facilities for a form to use.  16 and 17 year olds will be limited to 8‐hours per day, 40 hour week.   If aged under 18 then a copy of their birth certificate will be required  and if under 16 – written parental consent is needed.
