Appendix 4: First Aid Risk Assessment  Office based workers (associates) carrying out professional services  work using computer systems. With occasional visits to clients our  associates are required to confirm to standards of the site they are  visiting.  Summary  Base Risk Level 3  Risk Mitigation Actions – Provision of First Aiders and equipment,  compliance with First Aid HSP8.  Reduced Risk Level 1  First Aid risk assessment:  Activity ‐ is the type of work being carried out in the workplace ‐ eg:  using a piece of office equipment.   Hazard ‐ is the potential to cause harm ‐ eg: injury due to using faulty  equipment.  Control Measures ‐ are the actions taken to prevent or minimise the  risk    Risk Rating ‐ is the likelihood that harm will occur, after the control  measures and / or additional actions have been carried out.
